The annual SHM Conferences are a great opportunity for hospitalists to network while devoting time to learning about a variety of subjects that relate to hospital medicine. Several hospitalists also presented abstracts at the Converge Conference, including Maya Fiore, Ben Hoemann, MD, Joyce Ji, MD, Ankita Kapoor, MD, Han Li, MD, Mike Lin, MD, Patricia Litkowski, MD, and Brenna Zack, NP. Wonderful job to all who presented research!
Kudos to Dennis Chang, MD, and Mike Lin, MD, who were on the planning committee for the event. Dr. Chang also presented a lecture about common post-op complications, and Dr. Conner presented a pre-course about advanced point of care ultrasound.
