D. Bryant Kiliman, NP, is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Hospital Medicine. With a history of employment as a Clinical Researcher, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, and currently as a Hospitalist, he has an interest in improving patient care by facilitating communication and streamlining processes between silos erected within large organizations. He is interested in delivering direct patient care informed by Point of Care Ultrasound and evaluating the therapeutic benefits realized by the hands-on physical exam coupled with hands-on imaging.

Capstone project completed for Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2017 entitled “Patient Attitude Regarding a Novel Headgear Product”. This project assessed the impact that descriptive language may have upon patient acceptance of specific fall interventions.
