The Division of Hospital Medicine is proud to announce that Martin Kerrigan, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, has been accepted into the Washington University School of Medicine Academy of Educators. The Academy of Educators cultivates educational excellence and a community of leaders in health science education. They support educators’ continued growth and development through programs, grants, workshops, and awards. This achievement acknowledges Dr. Kerrigan’s significant contributions to the educational mission of Washington University School of Medicine.
The Academy of Educators official induction will occur on October 10, 2023 at the Academy’s annual Education Day. Education Day is an excellent opportunity to learn from talented educators, build network, participate in exciting workshops and roundtable sessions, and celebrate Academy of Educators reward recipients. Two of the three workshops on the agenda are co-led by fellow hospitalists Dennis Chang, MD and Carol Faulk, MD.
