The Patient Experience Team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital gathers feedback from patients after their discharge about their time at the hospital, and any clinicians that made a significant impact on their experience. Several hospitalists were mentioned by patients in July.
Dr. Filson and Dr. Kerrigan’s patient stated that both doctors were outstanding. Dr. Ji’s patient said, “I want to recognize Dr. Ji, she was the hospitalist taking care of me. She was a very caring doctor, took her time, and explained things too. She was outstanding.” Dr. Thoelke’s patient expressed, “I want to recognize Dr. Mark Thoelke. He came around with a team of people and he had a great bedside manner.”
