March 7th is National Hospitalist Day. This holiday recognizes the contributions of hospitalists nationwide and celebrates the individuals that make up the hospital medicine community. Did you know that hospital medicine is the fastest growing specialty in modern medicine? Hospitalists have played a valuable role in enhancing patient care and advancing the field of medicine and continue to leave a lasting impact on the medical field.
We wanted to make sure our hospitalists felt appreciated! We enjoyed a delicious meal from The Vine Mediterranean Restaurant, cookies from Hot Box, and received a visit from two of the hospital’s therapy dogs. Thanks again to the hospitalists for all they do to take great care of their patients!
