The Washington University Department of Medicine (DOM) Physicians Leadership Development Program was an excellent opportunity for several faculty to learn the fundamentals of performance improvement and change management. On Thursday, June 13th, the final class presentations took place. Dr. Rachel Bardowell presented about inpatient hospice referrals, while Dr. Safa Farrag and Dr. Rob Young presented about physical therapy consults. Of the experience, Dr. Farrag said, “It was a great opportunity to enhance our leadership skills, advance our projects to the next level, and develop a great network with the hospital leaders and colleagues from different divisions in the department.” Wonderful job to all who participated!
