Patricia Litkowski, MD, has been selected to serve as Physician Champion for Patient Experience at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. The BJH Patient Experience team focuses on improving communication between physicians and their patients and also with each other. They strive to refine processes that will create a more compassionate, efficient, well-informed and coordinated patient care. In her new role, Dr. Litkowski will work with a multidisciplinary team to lead efforts centered on improving patient experience at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She will work closely with individual unit Medical Directors and the Vice Chair of Patient Safety and will serve as a member of the Operations Executive Counsel for the Department of Medicine.
