Kim Boyer, DNP, APRN is a dual certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner with the Division of Hospital Medicine at Washington University St. Louis School of Medicine. Her duties are split as a provider within Barnes-Jewish Hospital/WUSM and with Goldfarb School of Nursing where she is an instructor in the AGACNP/DNP program. She is passionate about global health and addressing health care disparities stateside as well as in developing countries, partnering with organizations in Central America and Africa to provide free medical care to their citizens. She also holds a position with the US Department of Health and Human Services on a Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) deploying to areas impacted by disruptions to usual healthcare operations, most recently serving in Florida during Hurricane Ian.

She is currently a PA Fellow in the year-long Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Hospital Medicine Fellowship at Washington University. Previous research interests include the antimicrobial potential of synthetic ion channels and exploring new disease-modifying targets in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease. She prioritizes patient education and safety and is dedicated to setting a high standard for patient care.

She has served as a DNP and ANP for Washington University/ Barnes-Jewish Hospital for 31 years. She is certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center and licensed by the Missouri Board of Nursing. With expertise in nursing care for congestive heart failure patients, Lisa has presented her work at conferences, including "The Congestive Heart Failure Nurse Development Project" (2016) and "Improving Non-Cardiac Nurses' Knowledge and Comfort Level in Congestive Heart Failure Patient Care" (2017).

Hailing from the West coast of India, Krishna has a strong foundation in nursing, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from JG College of Nursing in India in September 2011. To further enhance her skills, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in 2019. Prior to joining the Division of Hospital Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Krishna served as a dedicated GI Nurse Practitioner at Marion General Hospital in Ohio for a two-year duration. This experience has allowed her to develop a keen interest in general medicine, particularly inpatient services.
