
Mrunal Patel, MD is an Instructor in Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at Washington University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, Ohio, where he gained extensive experience in managing a diverse range of complex medical cases. Originally from Gujarat, India, he pursued his medical degree at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College and has been dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based patient care. Patel developed a passion for internal medicine during his clinical rotations, appreciating the specialty’s emphasis on diagnostic reasoning and patient-centered care. With a particular interest in inpatient care, quality improvement, and evidence-based medicine, Patel is dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes through personalized treatment plans. He looks forward to providing effective and efficient care to his patients as a hospitalist.
