Erin Baum, MD, is an Instructor in Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine. She serves as the attending physician for the general medicine inpatient teaching services as well as the hospitalist direct care services, including day and night care of admitted patients. She serves on the division’s patient care operations and education committees and is also the faculty advisor to the WUSM Internal Medicine Interest Group. Dr. Baum enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and residents as well as the opportunity to be involved in student and resident recruitment. Her other areas of interest include medication reconciliation accuracy improvement and night float curriculum development.
