As an initiative of the Patient Experience Team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, patients are contacted post-discharge to provide feedback on their hospital stay. In August and September of 2025, multiple hospitalists were specifically mentioned by patients for their high-quality medical care.
Dr. Saleh Alhalaseh and Leanna Mulholland, PA, were both recognized by their patient, who shared: “I wanted to recognize my medical team when I was admitted—Leanna and Dr. Alhalaseh. They were just wonderful.” Crystal Atwood, MD, was also mentioned, with her patient expressing gratitude for Dr. Atwood’s attention to detail during her stay.

Dr. Cady Edwards’ patient shared that she and Dr. Elizabeth Joseph were “very, very good,” adding: “Just the amount of attention they gave me. They were very clear in their communication.”
