The General Internal Medicine Teacher of the Year Award is awarded to a clinical faculty member who best exhibits the characteristics of an exceptional teacher. This award is voted upon by all house staff and is awarded to the faculty member who best embodies the culture of excellence in medical education.
This year, Dr. Eric Johnson was chosen due to his dedication to the education of house staff through his teaching on daily rounds as well as at the bedside.
