IDEAS at Hospital Medicine

The IDEAS committee works to recruit and retain a broad range of talented individuals, encourages open discussion and understanding among colleagues, supports a welcoming workplace, and aims to enhance patient care for the community we serve.

  • Meet regularly to discuss goals, updates on projects
  • Schedule local, regional, and national speakers for IDEAS-related Hospital Medicine Grand Rounds topics
  • Organize a yearly fundraiser for a community organization
  • Collaborate with other committees such as the Compensation Committee to advocate for volunteerism to be incorporated into compensation bonuses, and the Education Committee to integrate IDEAS topics into Hospital Medicine Grand Rounds
