Dr. Mark Thoelke, Invited Speaker at the Annual Missouri Chapter ACP Meeting

Division Chief, Dr. Mark Thoelke, Professor of Medicine, was invited to present at the Missouri chapter of the American College of Physicians annual meeting on September 16th at Osage Beach, MO.

Dr. Thoelke’s topic was on ” Anticoagulation Cases in the Hospital 2018.”

His presentation focused on four main ideas: properly targeting at-risk patients for DVT prophylaxis, when to use NOACs and which one to use, anticoagulation bridging therapies, and anticoagulation reversal agents.
