Sayel Alzraikat, MD, joined the Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine as an Instructor in July 2025. Born and raised in Amman, Jordan, he earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan, where he developed a strong interest in clinical practice and research. Alzraikat completed his residency at MedStar Georgetown University – Washington Hospital Center in 2025. Throughout his training, he engaged in research, primarily in Gastroenterology, while also being deeply involved in teaching medical students and junior residents. His current focus is on inpatient care, with a particular interest in Gastroenterology. Additionally, he is eager to continue teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, further fostering his passion for medical education and contributing to the growth of future physicians.
